Many designers have chosen bold lips. Imagine a beautiful dress, a simple makeup and bold lips. This trend will surely be present the entire year. Red lips were another big hit on the runway, so the color of seduction is back on the feminine lips. Designers such as Rodarte and Zimmerman adopted this look.

Bold eyes are best defined with the liner, and the black liner is the favorite choice of many designers. It was a big hit during the BCBG Max Azaria Show. The cat-eye makeup looked amazing on models, and it will look amazing on every strong and confident woman.

No matter if you choose to keep your natural color or a different shade, bold brows seem to gain more popularity, especially after Alexander’s Wang unique show. He chose bleached eyebrows, but you may go with a darker look, like the one used by Veronica Beard.

Vivid colors seem to have taken over the eyes and the lips. However, the nails go back to more neutral shades. This is surely a fashion option, because this way the outfits are subtly highlighted. Altuzarra and Alexander Wang opted for this kind of colors.

Symmetry is over, so this year we will testify more asymmetrical looks.  From clothes to hair choices, the absence of symmetry is making a stand. Many top designers went with this trend, but Rebecca Taylor really made a statement of fashion.

Slicked Back Buns

Even before the New York Fashion Week, Beyoncé has made from wet and sleek hair a popular trend. Everybody has talked for weeks about her Grammy presentation and this look is now considered a sign of seduction. So it’s no wonder that it had a strong presence on the runway. It doesn’t matter if it is worn high or low, the effect remains the same.

During the colorless winter you could try some small streaks of color, like the ones inspired by Herve Leger and Emerson. The splash of color might be exactly what you need. Ponytails seem to be a perfect match for color sprays, and a classy, posh look.

The most dazzling look on the runway is certainly the golden braid, which was highlighted by Mara Hoffman.
