Olive Oil and Sugar
This is a simple and inexpensive home remedies. You can choose either brown sugar or white sugar, sugar acts as a natural and most effective scrub which can clean away dead cells on your lips and makes them smooth and clean. Mix both the ingredients and scrub on your lips with your fingers for few minutes and wash away with water and apply lip balm after the exfoliation.
Tooth brush and Petroleum jelly
This technique will remove the unnecessary dead skin from your lips. You can use your old tooth brush with straight and soft bristle; apply any petroleum jelly on your lips. Slowly rub your lips with the help of toothbrush in circular motion for 2-3 minutes, let all the dead skin come out and finally wash away with lukewarm water. Post exfoliations apply the same petroleum jelly.
Honey and Sugar
Honey and sugar is an excellent exfoliater, by just scrubbing these two ingredients on your skin you can eliminate the dead skin cells from your lips. Mix sugar and honey and apply directly on the skin and rub gently in small circular motions. Clean your lips with normal water. Honey can also be applied on your lips overnight for better results.
Baking soda is a perfect home remedy to remove the dead skin cells and impurities from your lips. Lips look smooth, shiny and clean. Mix baking soda with few drops of water and make it into a paste. Now, apply the paste on the lips and brush it gently with the help of toothbrush for 2 minutes. Wash it away with water and apply lip balm.
Lemon juice works well for dry and chapped lips. Mix lemon juice with glycerine or castor oil. No need to scrub and exfoliate, just apply these mixed ingredients on your lips and leave it overnight. Rub it with a soft cloth in the morning and wash it with water. Moisturise it with your best lip balm.
