1. Soak them in Olive Oil

2. Use a Cuticle Cream

Good quality cuticle creams can really help nourish dry cuticles and prevent them from going brittle.  Most of these creams have vitamin E which helps to make them stronger and healthier. Apply some on your nails and area around them every night and massage them.

3. Wear Gloves for Chores

Daily chores of washing and cleaning etc too could leave nails brittle and damaged. Thus whenever possible, make it a point to wear gloves for these chores to prevent them from getting damp and dirty too often.  Detergents and other harsh chemicals could too make them dry and brittle but wearing gloves will prevent this.

4. Eat Biotin Rich Foods

Vitamins are important for your health and can do wonders for your nails as well.  Some vitamins which can help include vitamin A, Vitamin C, and calcium. 6. Drink Lots of Water

Massaging your fingernails will help to increase blood flow and will thus strengthen the nails.  Use a good moisturizer on your nails every day.

In many cases, nails tend to chip off due to uneven edges and tips. Thus it is important that you file nails and maintain them every now and then. Use a good quality filer and then top it up with a nail polish coat to secure.
