Take each 2 teaspoons of honey, coriander seeds, nutmeg and also 4 teaspoons of orange flower water and grated lemon peel. Mix all these ingredients.
Now, to this mixture, add 1 teaspoon of cloves, 8 teaspoons of alcohol, ½ teaspoon of benzoin, few drops of rosewater and very little storax. Now, mix all these ingredients well and pour the solution in a large bottle and keep it aside for 24 to 48 hours before use.
Rosewater toner for smooth skin!
First of all, to prepare rosewater skin toner, gather few fresh blossoms of rose petals. Place the petals in a glass or stainless steel container or in any enamel saucepan and cover them with distilled water. Weigh the floating petals down with a heat resistant glass dish.
Now, place the pan with rose petals over low heat and let the pot to release the steam at least for an hour. You should notice the drops of rose oil floating on surface of water.
Don’t allow the water to boil for long time. When the water has taken the rose hue, you can notice the rose oil floating on the surface of the water. Strain the liquid using a tea strainer and store it in refrigerator for further use. Always remember; never use any rose petals that have been sprayed with harmful pesticides.
Lemon orange astringent!
Take ½ thinly sliced lemon and orange and ¾ cup of ethanol alcohol. Now, combine lemon, orange and ethanol alcohol in a blender and mix it well until the fruits are pulverized. After that, strain the liquid into a jar using a small strainer or a neat cheese cloth.
Lemon orange astringent mainly tightens the pores of your skin and refreshes your skin by eliminating the excessive oils present inside your skin.
