Natural skincare always starts with the basics, drinking lots of water and getting eight hours of continuous sleep every night.
Next up is a well balanced healthy diet and regular exercise. In other words if you take good care of your body a healthy skin will always be the result.
Be careful to protect your skin against the harmful rays of the sun.
Ensure that you have a high factor of sunscreen lotion or cream and try to avoid the hottest parts of the day when you are either on holiday or if you live in a hotter climate. If necessary, use a sun hat or a specific sun umbrella.
Work out a daily cleansing routine that works best for you, being careful to always remove every trace of make up, however tired you are at the end of the day.
Showers are healthier than a bath although the latter can be a good way of relaxing. Change bed linen very regularly and avoid putting on dirty clothes.
Finding a way of avoiding stress, from work or just everyday living will make a massive difference to your general well being.
If avoidance is impossible, try to make time to unwind at the end of the day or maybe a few hours once a week. Everyone needs down time and you will be the better for it.
If you have adopted some or all of the aforementioned suggestions then you may not even require any skin care products. However, they can be a nice treat for your skin and help maintain a healthy glow.
