Glowing skin is every woman’s dream, mainly because of the aesthetics, but it is also a sign of health, youth, and vitality.
Keep a Balanced Diet
Food is important, and if you don’t eat healthy, you will suffer the consequences. Eat many fruits and vegetables and avoid processed food and refined sugar.
Keep Yourself Hydrated
When you are thirsty choose water instead of sodas and teas. And avoid or reduce coffee because it doesn’t help your skin.
Choose the Right way to Shower
Hot showers tend to dry out the skin, so it is better to be avoided. Instead of the extreme heat, choose lukewarm water. The effect will be visible. For even better results, filter the water. It may contain chlorine and the filter will remove the impurities and the skin will look refreshed. Even the hair will look healthier and if it is dyed, the color will last longer.
Hands and Feet Treatment
Soak your hands and feet with milk and oatmeal, right before manicure and pedicure. Choose a cuticle oil with vitamin E. This antioxidant ingredient will protect your hands during the cold season. If you have dry soles, try a foot file. Make sure not to cut the skin, otherwise you may create some unpleasant cracks.
Take Extra Care of Your Face
Use sunscreen. It will protect you from UV rays even when it’s cold and the sun hides behind clouds. Whenever you need a deeper face cleaning use eucalyptus steam. It cleans out even the impurities that couldn’t be removed by other makeup removers. You may also try to reduce the makeup use as much as possible, even if it is only during week-ends. For an extra protection, use face oils that are rich in antioxidants.
Moisturize
When it comes to moisturizers, it is important to apply the lotion right after shower while the skin is still warm and damp. This is a perfect way to keep your skin hydrated and soft all day. Use shea butter, especially during winter. For more hydration use more layers of moisturizing products. For instance, you may apply oil and then butter.
Exfoliate
Exfoliate at least twice a week because you will be able to remove the layer of dead skin. Use products from your own cupboard, such as dregs, sea salt, lemon and sugar.
Go for Regular Massage
Massage improves the circulation, and because of it your skin will look naturally beautiful and glowing.
