The patient’s tissue must be properly irrigated with blood for skin transplants to “take root”. Low-frequency ultrasound can work effectively to promote this.
Skin wounds are very painful, but they can be cured within few days. For patients like diabetics, they can cause more serious problem. Sometimes this can take long time to cure and also extends to the entire lower leg can be referred as open leg ulcer.
Main reason behind this condition is improper blood circulation. Due to improper blood circulation there is a lack of oxygen and nutrients to be supplied to the wound. The only solution for this kind of problem is skin transplant of healthy tissue.
